Felix Anirah Foundation in conjunction with Rotary Club International, Sapele Metropolitan renovated the Maternity and Female Orthopedic Wards of the Central Hospital Sapele.
While commissioning the projects, on November 10th, 2016, the District Governor of Rotary Club International, District 9140, Rotarian Akabom Enebong commended Chief Felix Anirah, the President/CEO of the Felix Anirah Foundation for collaborating with Rotary in serving humanity.
The DG also stated that by this gesture, Felix Anirah Foundation has put smile on the faces of the less privilege especially nursing mothers who were beneficiaries of his gifts items and the hospital equipment donated to the hospital.
Rotarian Enebong also added that Rotary is an organization of business men and women, professionals and community leaders with the mission of serving others, promoting integrity and caring for the needy in the society.
He assured Felix Anirah Foundation of Rotary Club’s continues support toward achieving greater feats to the benefit of humanity and urged him to maintain the tempo.
In his response Chief Felix Anirah thanked Almighty God for his grace and mercies upon his family and the foundation, adding that the wealth God has giving to him, is to serve God and put smiles on the faces of the less privilege.
According to him, “how do you share wealth and love, rather than making people happy? A lonely wealthy man is not a wealthy man.”
On his part, the President of the Rotary Club of Sapele Metropolitan, Rotarian Tony Uba also commended the Anirah foundation for the laudable projects.
The high light of the ceremony was the official induction of Chief and Chief Mrs. Felix Anirah as an honorary member of the Rotary Club at a reception held at the Sapele Athletic Club.
