Rotarian William Etubiebi: Legal/Health Coordinator

Rotarian William Etubiebi was born in Sapele on the 21st of May, 1959. He attended Adene Okpe Primary School Orerokpe and St. Peters Clavers College, Aghalokpe. In 1979, he proceeded to the University Benin to read Pharmacy and graduated in 1984.

Rotarian Etubiebi did his mandatory National Service at the Kano State School of Health Technology, where he taught Pharmaceutical Technology. He also worked briefly with Roche Pharmaceutical Company ltd, before starting he own business of Pharmaceutical retailing.

In 1997 he was admitted to the University of Jos to read Law and graduated in 2002 and was called to the Nigeria Bar in October, 2004.

Rotarian Etubiebi has served both in the professions and community at large. In 1994, he was elected as the chairman of the Association of Community Pharmacist of Nigeria (ACPN) Plateau State.

A widely travelled person, have been to congresses of the Federation of International Pharmacist FIP in Caro 2005, El-Salvador Brazil in 2006, Beijeing China in 2007 and Basel, Switzerland in 2009.

He has also served as Chairman of Okpe Union in Jos, Vice President of Urhobo Progress Union, (UPU) in Jos, and Vice President of Plateau recreational Club in Jos.

He served Delta State from 2011-2014, as a member of the Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board.

He is a member of Pharmaceutical Society and member of the Nigeria Bar Association, Sapele Branch.

Rotarian Etubiebi is married to Jane Etubiebi who is a Consultant in Peace and Conflict Resolution and they are blessed with five children and grand children.

He is Legal/Health Coordinator of Felix Anirah Foundation.
